Amongst the many facets I am a teacher, dedicated student…

With a natural affinity to the wisdom and depths of our bodies, heart led notion and the art of slow living, I work with women .. the essence of Anchored and uplifted

I have devoted the last five years to the field of Attunement, also known as building intimacy with the body. As we refine our capacity to listen to sensations, messages from our body, we are able to meet this history stored in our tissues. When met with open compassion, the grip softens, unwinding and restoring happens.

The source of this inspiration? Perhaps, my greatest challenges that have now become gifts, illuminating my path.

Through my own life path I was guided to discover practices and teachings that would install peace, faith, safety, presence. Ways of being that had previously felt far away from me and some of my nearest and dearest.

As loud as the word can sound at times, I have dedicated much of my study towards Trauma and the role it plays with our Nervous System. Creating trauma sensitive spaces.

I give great thanks to my teachers, for the blessings of their mentorship, and their emanating fields of integrity, intelligence and clear-sight, in particular Claire Robbie, Kristin Borchardt and Tina Nance.

Where it all began…

Challenges that became a gift and a passion that blossomed into a whole lifestyle. After growing up aware of the mental and emotional strain that come filter into our internal world, a fascination with our human nature grew and grew. Teenage years into early twenties felt full of unease, anxiety and helplessness. Either feeling absolutely numb or overwhelmed by emotion, I felt exhausted and frustrated with myself and what felt like a world I didn’t fit into.

To make things more fiddly, I was struck with chronic fatigue and endometriosis. Without realising it at the time, this became my gateway into slowing down and reflecting. During this time, nudges began to arise about different paths and ways of being. From someone who thought they were doing all the ‘right’ things, my intense curiosity and passion for more integrative approaches that fell outside the box was sparked. This meant stepping away from a path that I thought I had to live into in order to meet societal expectations. It felt scary, lonely yet also something I knew I had to do.

Years on, many detours and fumbles, here I am! Teaching holistic introspective modalities that have offered me the opportunity to notice, feel, hold and understand the tender, tricky, tense, and confusing parts of who I am.

I’ve come to understand myself and that has been the single most powerful tool for changing the way that I experience, view and be with myself, relationships, and the world.

The journey has been confronting, challenging, enriching and empowering. And it has lead to me to cultivate the skills required and capacity to offer a safe and thoughtful therapeutic space to others.

Through my own experience and studies I am aware that our mental health is not just a shoulders up approach but a whole body one. I feel there is so much I have experimented with and found helpful that has not been shared or found to be easily accessible within these spaces. These include movement, stillness, nervous system, gut health. Pieces that make up the puzzle.

I now work with my clients, in an integrative holistic approach. With a willingness to stick in there and trust the process, I will be there for you with my uttermost attention and care. Let’s work together here.
